Math Board Games

The class finally finished their math board games! They have had fun reviewing third grade math and challenging one another in their creative games! 

Chemical Tests

The class has been having a blast trying to figure out 5 mystery chemicals by performing various experiments on them, such as water evaporation, iodine, vinegar, and red cabbage juice!

Expert Projects

Students researched countries and cultures around the world of their choosing. They also presented their findings to the class - either by poster or electronically. Our class learned a lot from one another!

Art

Here is a sneak peek of our Spring Festival class art project.  We are close to being done! Thank you to Mona Ponder and Lee Anne McCalley for all of your help with the project.  Parents, thank you for bringing in supplies!  I will email you soon with our finished project!

Habitats

The class has enjoyed learning about plants and animals on a unit with Mrs. King, our new student teacher. A culminating activity they have been working on is creating habitats!  

Rocks and minerals

Our class has had a lot of fun learning about rocks and minerals. We had a special presenter, Mr. Carr, bring his rock collection to share with the third graders. 

Also, students have been researching their own rocks.  They are in the process of finishing Google slides presentations on their rocks.
