We had a fantastic time at American Village becoming colonists in the fight for the American Revolution! We met George Wythe, Paul Revere's wife, and even George Washington's granddaughter! Students were even trained as militia in the Continental Army.
Edgewood has enjoyed a fun day led by Michael P. White, an illustrator and now writer. He demonstrated for students the writing and illustrating process, shared several pieces of artwork, and even taught the students how to create some of their own illustrations.
