Math Games

The class has started doing math stations daily where they rotate through 4 stations: teacher, independent, games, and challenge.  They are doing a great job with the stations and are learning a lot!

Some of the games that the students have learned about so far are:
- 5 to Make 205 - which uses addition and estimating
- Closest to 1,000 - which uses 4 digition addition
- Closest to 0 - which uses 4 digit subtraction

Glad to Be Back

I am so happy to be back with the class!  We have already had a great time this past week and a half learning a lot of new things!

In science, students have been learning about plant embryos, seed coats, and we are even planting our very own Wiscosin Fast Growing plants!

We have also started our reading rotations this week!
