I cannot believe that the end is actually here! This year has been amazing thanks to you! This will be my final blog for the year, so enjoy pictures from the last couple of weeks of school.
Last week, students completed two more variables activities called fliers and lifeboats. We found out that the larger a capacity there is, more passengers can fit on the boat.
Measuring capacity
Testing how many "passengers" can fit into the lifeboat.
Also, students found out that the more mass you add to the flier, you will have to add more winds to get it across the area of flight. (It is hard to see, but they are flying their fliers across a fishing line.)
Creating the fliers
Original tests of the fliers using fishing line.
Testing the fliers with variables.
AND... Three of our classmates participated in the Centerstage production of Peter Pan.
