This week students learned about capacity. They wrote, memorized and performed sings to help them learn how many teaspoons in a tablespoon, etc.
Also, they worked on learning the positions of the planets according to distance from the sun. they made new pneumonic devices to help them learn Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
We have done a lot of fun science activities recently. In one activity students measured the mass, density, and volume of gummy bears. Then we soaked them overnight in water to see the changes!
Next, we studied acids and bases. We used litmus paper to test whether certain substances were acids or bases.
