Busy December

We have had a wonderful, yet busy December wrapping up several units in class. Students enjoyed the following:

Class debate on the British versus the colonists











Studying for a science test using a game called "Scoot"





And using plant and animal cards to make food webs and energy pyramids

Dare graduation

I am so proud of the students for making commitments to be drug and alcohol free. Thank you to PTO for providing a delicious desserts for the kids.

Colonial Day

We had a fantastic day at Colonial Day! The students enjoyed presenting, eating a colonial feast, and even colonial dancing!

Lungs and Character Pumpkins

Students learned how to find their vital lung capacity by using measurements and graphs. Ten they measured their lung capacities after exercising for two minutes.

The class also enjoyed sharing their fun character pumpkins. We had characters from Greg fromThe Diary of a Wimpy Kid to Tyson the cyclops from The Lightning Thief Series!
